180th Anniversary celebration and “International Parish Day”
On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity (June 11, 2017), the parish community celebrated 180th anniversary of the erection of the parish and International parish day to reflect the magnificence, glory and beauty of God in the universality of His church.
The day started with "Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament", followed by Mass presided by Canon Tony McKentey, concelebrated with Fr Alex Poblador and Fr. Francis Ututo and assisted by Deacon Richard Cerson. The prayer of the faithful was translated into 9 languages (Chinese, Vietnamese, Malayalam (India), Shona (Zimbabwe), Malaysian, Russian, Igbo (Nigerian), Fijian and Italian).
After the Mass, there was Agape socialisation, International Food Festival and Cultural presentations to raise money for the parish.
